A passion of mine for countless years has been to make these stunning slate bowls using the local Welsh slate from the surrounding area in Snowdonia.

They are lathed and polished using a specially adapted lathe which took a very long time to perfect !! Every one takes many hours, but the result is beautiful,

and I never tire of seeing the end result showing the different grains and veins which make every piece totally unique. Prices range from £100 for a standard plain 9" bowl to £500 for an 18" coloured beauty.
